Invitations and reminder schedules
Manual sending, timing rules, activation and recipient preferences.
Send an event invitation
In the latest form, channels are selected using the organization's settings, recipient preferences and device availability. The absence of an email/push selector in this window is intentional. Sending an invitation does not mean participation is confirmed or the message has been read.
- Open the prepared event and check its program, date and lineup.
- Choose to send invitations.
- Select the correct recipients and check the visible selection scope.
- Confirm sending and read the summary.
- Return to lineup statuses and follow responses.
Set the timing
A rule can specify a number of days before the event and a local time. An option for the last specified weekday before the start may also be available. Check the calculated dates, especially if a rule's time is close to the event start.
In the new model, rules are copied from the template to the event. You can change them for that date or explicitly restore the template's current list. This is not permanent inheritance of every later model change.
Enable automation deliberately
- In the event, open the invitation and reminder schedule.
- Check the organization's time zone and each scheduled time.
- Choose rule recipients: people without a response or everyone, as needed.
- Enable automatic reminders and save.
- Check that the configuration remains active and matches the current event.
Why recipients do not all get the same channel
Delivery considers channels allowed by the organization, global account preferences, active devices and system notification permission. Disabled email is not necessarily replaced by push if the device is not ready.
Recipients may receive a message through another route or have no available channel. Ask them to check notification settings and the device session. Acceptance by the email provider does not confirm delivery to the inbox.
Rescheduling and disabling
After changing the date, time zone or rule list, review the schedule again. Do not assume historical times will trigger sending after saving the configuration. Disabling the schedule stops related pending deliveries according to a renewed settings check.
Automation requires a running delivery service and correct environment configuration. If the rules are correct but messages do not arrive, report the event name, planned time and channel. Do not include passwords, tokens or links that allow account access.
