PDF preview, printing and downloads
Prepare a convenient song document or one PDF for the entire event.
Generated text and attached PDFs
A preview may show a document generated from lyrics and chords or an original attachment. Font, orientation and column settings apply to generated text. They do not change notation or the layout of an uploaded PDF.
Page fitting, zoom, rotation and night mode make the current view easier to read. They are separate from the document's persistent layout. If a change should appear in print, check that it changes the layout rather than just preview magnification.
Open and adjust a preview
- Choose preview in a song or program item.
- If several sources are available, select text, PDF or the appropriate other document.
- Fit the whole page or width and go through every page.
- For generated text, choose the required layout and check whether it is saved.
- Use the printer icon to print or the download arrow to save a PDF.
Per-song settings
Text layout is stored for each song, and notes have their own settings. This is not one shared preference for the entire library. Before changing it, check whether you are updating a document used by other people too.
The available songbook mode provides a more compact layout. Fit to one page searches for a smaller readable size within the supported range; it does not guarantee that any amount of text will fit. If the result is too small, use two pages rather than make stage reading difficult.
One PDF for the event
Excluding a song from print does not remove it from the program. Choosing a source for export does not necessarily change your personal default preview.
- In the event header, select Print plan / PDF.
- Choose the plan only, plan and songs, or songs only.
- For songs, select inclusion in the export and specify the correct sources.
- Preview the selected files and check page ranges.
- Prepare the document, inspect the result, then print or download one PDF.
Check the finished printout
Check the order, event date, footers and continuous numbering. A repeated song may appear again according to the program. The export may not include private annotations made in the preview. Audio and video do not automatically become document pages.
An error in a selected source may interrupt preparation of the whole document. Return to selection and correct the unavailable file instead of assuming a complete PDF was produced. In a mobile client, printing and sharing may use the system menu.
