Song library
Search, filtering, song details, scheduling history and the archive.
Find a song before adding another
The library stores songs and their arrangements. Start by searching for a title or author. In an organization with a large collection, use key, meter, tag, scheduling and archive filters if your client offers them. The list respects permission scopes.
The main row shows the default available arrangement or the first available one. If there are more variants, you can expand the others. With only one arrangement, the absence of an expand control does not mean its details are missing.
Create an organized record
Create a new song only if it is not another variant of an existing composition. A new arrangement is often more appropriate for a different sequence, notation key or performing lineup.
- In Library, choose to add a song.
- Enter the title and fill in authorship, source and rights if known.
- Prepare content with chords or attach an appropriate document.
- Check the base key and arrangement details, including BPM and meter.
- Add recognizable tags, open the preview and save.
Authorship, history and dates
Song details show the content and musical information, while additional rights and metadata may be under the information icon. Do not confuse lyricist, composer, arranger and publisher. Fill in the appropriate fields instead of combining every credit in the title.
History refers to events accessible to the user. A scheduling date does not confirm a performance. Historical data from an external import may be marked separately and does not replace events created in ConcertAmi.
Archive instead of deleting unnecessarily
Archiving removes a song from the current selection for new events while keeping it findable in the archive. It is a good choice for repertoire you intend to revisit. Existing programs retain their saved data.
Deletion is a separate operation with confirmation and a broader permission requirement. It is not simply moving something to the archive. Before confirming, check the title and make sure you mean the right song rather than just one unnecessary arrangement.
Source changes and future events
When saving a change, the system may ask whether to update future occurrences. Deliberately choose whether to change only the library or prepared programs too. Historical plans should not be accidentally altered by everyday material corrections.
If a version conflict occurs, preserve your unsaved text and retrieve current data. Do not repeat the save automatically. The intended result is one organized song, recognizable variants and an update limited to the scope you approved.
