iOS and Android apps

A shared account, working on your phone and the actual scope of your available version.

Your phone uses the same organization

Native iOS and Android apps use the same account and data as the web app. You do not create a separate library or phone subscription. After a change on a computer, refresh the relevant screen on your phone.

Available actions depend on your role and released app version. Client development does not mean a new release has been published. A newer feature description may require an update that is not yet available through your installation channel.

Prepare the app for your first rehearsal

  1. Install the app from a trusted channel supplied by the operator.
  2. Sign in with your own account and select the correct organization and context.
  3. Open the next event, its Program and Lineup.
  4. Check the text and required attachments on the device screen.
  5. If your version supports offline data, prepare it in advance while connected.

Organizer work on a phone

Newer clients are developing editing for events, templates, arrangements, people and sections. Program and lineup views are intended to use the same concepts as the web app, although moving items and system file pickers may work differently.

Data version checks also apply on phones. After a conflict, retrieve the current state and compare your change. A smaller screen is no reason to skip confirmations when archiving, deleting or changing a role.

Features do not all have identical scope

Import, media management, excerpt selection and document tools can differ between clients. The operator panel remains a separate tool. If an operation is missing on your phone, check the supported web version instead of looking for a hidden shortcut.

Push requires service configuration, a registered device, an active session and system permission. Installing the app alone does not confirm every notification will arrive. Before an important event, also check your own channel settings.

Updates and reporting problems

When reporting a problem, provide the platform, app version, device operating system and screen where it occurred. If it concerns one document, specify its type and page count without sending restricted material.

Phone screenshots in this documentation may show the responsive web view; the caption distinguishes it from a native app. Judge feature availability by the description and your own version, not just similar icons.
